Board Game Condition Guide
Please note that regardless of condition all games we buy or sell are 100% complete!
Very Good (A+ to B+) games may have minor shelf wear on a few places on the outside of the box. The components inside are in near mint condition. Similar to what the wear you would expect after playing a game 3 or less times. Rarely, miniatures games may have (well) painted figures. Games may not have promotional materials, original inserts or inner packaging. Games with expendable components such as score cards, note cards, etc must have at least 85% remaining. This condition includes punched not played and unpunched games.
Played (B to C) games may have moderate shelf wear to the outside of the box. This includes splitting, crushed edges and any other similar cosmetic damage. The box must still be usable. All parts and pieces inside are in at least good condition. Cards may have moderate surface/edge wear, components may be slightly worn/faded, boards may have minor scuffing/tears/surface wear/stains and rulebooks and other literature may have creases/folds/minor tears/missing covers. None of these defects can prevent the game from being played, make a component unidentifiable or obscure any text. Miniatures games may have painted figures. Games may not have promotional materials, original inserts or inner packaging. Games with expendable components such as score cards, note cards, etc must have at least 50% remaining. Games in this condition are generally known as Good to Acceptable.
Heavily Played, No Box & Partial Games
Cheap Cheap Games does not buy or sell games that have significant wear to the box, parts, pieces or components this includes heat, water and/or smoke damage. We do not buy or sell games with missing parts, pieces or components. For the most part we do not buy or sell no box or reboxed games. Some expansions are exempt from this rule and will be labeled as "No Box". Generally No Box items are packed in zip bags.
Unfortunately there are some baddies out there that reseal games to sell as new. In order to protect our customers and keep our completeness promise we only buy new games from authorized distributors. If you do send us a new sealed game it will be opened for inspection and you will receive the Very Good price. If you have traded with us before and can provide an invoice for the game(s) from an authorized distributor we will make an exception and provide you with an additional 20% bonus.
